Dignity Action Day 1st February 2016 - NEW

Wow what a wonderful day we have had at Holme Manor today. It was a very busy afternoon with Rebecca the singer and family members who joined us all for the Dignity Action Day celebrations.

Rebecca song some wonderful songs for us that the residents joined in with and we ate cake!!! Well it was fantastic and a big thank you to Denis and Cath for making it so very special. It went down a treat.

Lovely to see family members able to join us also which always makes it extra special.

Think we celebrated the day in style.

Lots of other things are also happening at the moment at Holme Manor.

We are getting involved in a great Memory Box project and this will start hopefully in a few weeks time and will involve lots of our residents taking part and joining in some wonderful activities.

We are making Twiddlymuffs as mentioned previously and I can say the first one is of the production line. More to follow. Please do not forget to donate any wool, ribbon, lace etc that you may have.

We are still also knitting blankets for Bleakholts Animal Sanctuary in Edenfield and hope to delivery some next week.

Watch this space for dates on entertainment up to the end of July as soon as it is all organised lists will also be in the conservatory for you to see.
